Strategic Selling in Complex Environments



Some of my favorite projects involved high stakes, complex deals involving multiple departments and executive leadership. I excel in complex and unique situations. I led the team and implementation of a $54M contract renewal for Nielsen Audio’s largest customer at the time -- representing 20% of revenue -- during a difficult economic climate. At Nielsen Audio and Coleman Insights, I enjoyed the consultative (vs. transactional) sales process. In ideal situations, our team became partners with our clients to solve a business issue.



Confident Public Speaker with an Executive Presence



I am very good at communicating complex and technical topics succinctly and clearly to a non-technical audience. My work on an implementation team for Nielsen Audio’s innovative technology initiative, Portable People Meter (PPM), provided a venue to help a mature industry embrace necessary technology to remain relevant. During my startup experience, I successfully “pitched” my business to bring on new advisors, technology partners and investors.



Project Managing RFP and Formal Sales proposals



In my work with a media startup and while with Coleman Insights (a boutique consulting firm specializing in radio station branding), I oversaw multiple RFP responses and formal sales presentations, managing detailed requirements supplied by multiple teams against stringent requirements and hard deadlines.



Effective Sales and People Leader



I led my region (at Nielsen Audio) to meet multi-million dollar contract renewal goals and regularly increase revenue YOY in the double digits without sacrificing customer satisfaction. Half of my former team have all been promoted and expanded their influence within the organization.
